So, I didn't change it, and tried again and no luck. Awesome that they are working on the 1st gen drivers too. I still have problems getting it to work with Pro Tools too. Don't change more than one quotient at a time. I recently built a computer, I got it all set up and working, and I'm using the focusrite scarlett 2i2 because I do some music stuff and will eventually be getting some studio monitors. In post it says that they said their working on gen1 driver? Comeon Focusrite show some love for 1st gen also. If you do not want to fully update Windows 7, the exact Microsoft update needed can be found. Nothing will make the device pop up on my sound settings.
But the problem is solved now, I turned off my computer and it worked when I turned it back on. You can when necessary, especially when the Focusrite drivers are damaged or missing. I will try with a different guitar anyways. Sometimes I have problems getting it to work at 44 but it works fine at 48. I used the 1st gen 2 years ago without any issues and thought this would be similar…. Assuming you know this already, but I'll mention it anyway. This being the case, if you are still having any problems, we would of course like to investigate them.
